Consumers care more than ever before about their shopping and purchasing experiences — in fact, they now care so much that it’s motivating the majority of their purchasing decisions. More than three-quarters (80 percent) of consumers surveyed as part of one recent study said that the quality of a company’s customer experience make a major difference in whether they choose to shop with them. This outranks even price when it comes to shoppers’ biggest motivations when making purchasing decisions.
