The rights management is one of the most important features of Akeneo PIM, coupled with the validation workflow. Basic options are available in the community edition but the most advanced features are exclusive in the enterprise edition.
In the community and enterprise edition, you create users and define their permissions for each type of action.
And in the enterprise edition only, you can define the permissions for attribute groups, define also who will be able to work in the different locales and finally, configure the rights per category of products.
