In the release of Akeneo 1.4, we announced a new very important feature: the product assets manager (PAM). This is a new part of the PIM to help you manage your assets independently from the products allowing you to classify assets, automate actions to edit them and create some rules.
This feature is very useful when it comes to multichannel and multi locales if you want different assets depending on the scope or the language.
